A calm Berlin home with a bold twist

Hello Monday! Hello August! What a lot of fresh starts, got to love that?! I thought I'd kick off the week with inspiration from a turn of the century Berlin home. Styled by Sarah of Coco-Lapine for Fantastic Frank, the original features and high cielings of the space painted in fresh whites and light grey make a beautiful backdrop for striking contemporary pieces by New tendency and &Tradition among others. All in all, a lovely light-filled space...with a few bold twists - loving the black accent wall....and are those airplane storage cabinets in the kitchen units do you think?!).....

What a cool, calm home, don't you think?

A little about where a few of the items are from: Meta side table, Masa table, &Tradition chairs, Shift shelving system. Plug Lamp by Atelje Lyktan. Paris elevations print by Studio Esinam. Teesta rug in the sitting room.  Bergmann light fixture.

You can see more pics of this lovely home and more details about the interior here.

Three very different homes using a white and grey colour scheme here, here, here. Such a soothing combination, are you a fan? For a similar light grey try either Blackened or Ammonite.

The school holidays have nearly come to a close here in Sweden, but for now I've got two little girls waiting for me to take them to the beach to build sand castles....

Have a lovely start to the week!
